Are Fiddler Crabs a Keystone Species In Local Mangrove Forests?

1) Collect sand and mud, fiddler crabs and mangroves

2) Put mud and sand in a aluminum pan, bake for 24 hours to purify

3) Put equal amounts of mud and sand in all cups (n=15) and the mud (n=15)

4) Fifteen cups of sand and mud containing crabs.

Fifteen bottles of sand and fifteen bottles of mud were set up, each with one Mangrove propagule (controls).  Treatment one was set up as previously stated (N=15 for sand and mud respectively), except fiddler crabs were placed within each bottle.
